With the rays of the sun beaming through my window and casting the beautiful light across the room. As it’s warmth and dose of ever needed vitamin D hit my skin, I am reminded that spring maybe just around the corner. I can’t tell you how welcome the warm weather will be when it eventually arrives for good.
Now I have you dreaming of longer days and shorter nights, flowers emerging from their winter bed, cleaning washing blowing freely in warm the air I start to tell you all about my upcoming Bluebell Family Photography Sessions.
I know it seems crazy, Christmas was only last month… hang on what? It was 2 months ago ?? Why does time seem to rush by so fast?
With my spring being one of my favourite seasons of the year I can’t tell you how amazing it is to be surrounded by 360 degrees of these sweet smelling flowers.
I kick-started my 2018 family photography outdoor sessions last year with a few bluebell photo sessions near Winchester and my goodness they didn’t disappoint!
They were so popular and it’s not hard to understand why. Their beautiful tones make an impressive backdrop to any family photo session. So, this year have decided that I will offer the Bluebell Photography Session again. YIPPEE!!
These Bluebell photos will be Mini sessions, and they will run slightly different to my standard family sessions. Each Bluebell Family Photography sessions will be a 30 minute session. You will receive all your high-resolution digital files (approx. 20) provide in a private online gallery included in your session fee.
Sessions will be limited this year and I will be offering just a few days of Bluebell photography. As Bluebells are notorious for coming out late, not lasting very long, or they decide to arrive early and stay well into May. Some years the season is around 10 days long other years it’s over 3 weeks long. We can’t predict it. This year the season will also coincide with Easter and Half term! This causes me all sorts of issues and It makes booking sessions a tricky affair. So, to make life easier this year’s sessions will work like this.
-Pre booked sessions– those dates listed below, book early to avoid missing out!
-Back up dates: for the amazing organised (not like me) pre- booked people where possible in case of bad weather or shy Bluebells.
A Waiting List:, if the weather had been fine and the bluebells last I release more sessions.
Dates are as follows:
Saturday 20th April / Saturday 27th April
Bluebell Sessions will run at 11:00am / 11:45am / 12:30pm / 1:15pm / 2:00pm / 2:45pm on both days.
Sessions are £125, It’s £50 booking fee to secure you space and then balance the 7 days before the session.
Location will be Near Winchester , and you will be sent final information once your balance has been paid.
A quick reminder, that even you if don’t book a photography session and you chose to take you own children and dogs to visit any local bluebells, please do remember how easy it is to damage the flowers and how long it will take for new bluebells to grow from seed if we destroy them. When you visit, please stick to paths as much as possible and encourage your children to do the same and please do not pick them as it is illegal.
