A few months ago, I had an email from a lovely lady called Emily. She wanted to arrange to have some family photos taken as a gift for her parents to mark there 36 year Wedding Anniversary. A few things struck me about Emily’s email, one was that she was able to think so far ahead when she’s just had a baby a few weeks before hand. The other was just how special these photos were going to be for her Mum and Dad. Having a extended family photo shoot along with her sister, brother in law and sweet niece these were photos that their family would cherish for many ,many years.
As today approached both Emily and I worried the weather was going to try and ruin the photos. As I headed to Southsea today I needn’t have worried, as the sun held its own against the cloud and we were blessed with the most beautiful warm weather.
I am always so impressed with how well children cope with having their photo taken. It can be really daunting to have to meet a stranger and be expected to follow direction, even as an adult. These two little girls were no exception. Both Louisa and Rosalie were absolute superstars,. I can see just what a lovely bond these two cousins are going to share.
I have rushed home from our wonderful photo shoot to download the images and edit a few previews for them all to see. I hope you love them as much as I loved my time with you today.
