New Baby's and Fur Sisters at Home- Newborn Photography, West Sussex
A few weeks ago, sometime during this craziness that we call the summer holidays I headed to Midhurst to photograph Laura, Andy, Juno the Dog and her new human sister Tilly.
You’d have been somewhat thrown by the dark cloudy weather for thinking that this was the middle of winter. I don’t know what’s happened to the weather in Hampshire and West Sussex recently it been so horrible and rainy? Thankfully I am a fan of dark days and love the way the light falls when we aren’t blessed with sunny skies.
I am always so happy when families chose to include their pets in the newborn or family photos. After all they are often the first member of the family and rightly deserve to be photographed alongside all your children and babies.
Juno the dog tried her hardest to take the spot light away from baby Tilly, I was totally smitten. She was such a gorgeous doggy. Tilly on the other hand was not so keen on having photo taken, much preferring to be feeding from mum and being held all time. I mean , that’s nothing new when it comes to a Newborn. Thankfully I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to makes sure we can capture those all-important newborn photo for you. It helps being at home , being able to keep things relaxed and feed as you need to. My sessions are never rushed and we go at the pace of your family and newborn baby.
Despite Tilly’s reluctance I think you’ll agree we managed to capture some stunning images that this family will be able to treasure for years to come. If you have a family pet you would like included in your newborn photos please do get in touch. There is nothing I love more than photographing a family at home.
